SMALL TOWN PARENTHOOD SESS.

The Saturday before Christmas (almost two months ago now), I had the privilege of photographing a fellow local photographer and her beautiful family. To me, this wasn't just any photographer, she's practically a local legend.

Amy Craig is the first photographer that I got to know. Back in 2013, she did my senior portraits with my good friend (who was her neighbor at the time)! I remember talking with her at my senior session about how I would love to become a photographer one day. She gave me a lot of encouragement, and it's probably safe to say that I wouldn't be a photographer without that experience.

So you see, I felt incredibly honored when Amy messaged me in December to set up a family session. And then I got really nervous because she's Amy Craig. But everything turned out perfectly, including the 50 degree weather and the sunshine. We had a blast roaming around the small town of Mt. Pleasant and admiring the locals' Christmas decor and posing in cute hidden spots.
